Review from the Publisher
Superb referenece on demonic possession and exorcismYolande Suzin, Forest Hills, NY

Fantastic!! Should be a children's classic.
A very magical spin on the true meaning of Christmas.

Big subject in a small book
Extremely clear and easy to read, plus beautiful!

A tragic tale of how Mister Sinister came to beOther scientists slam his ideas and he only meets failure when trying to pursue his goal. But then he meets En Sabah Nur, also known as the evil mutant Apocalypse - Who tells him there is a way for him to do it. All Nathaniel has to do is choose between that or the love of his caring wife.
This is a very good story about love, the difficult choice this man had to make and how he came to the decision he eventually made. After years and years of hating Mister Sinister for everything he's done to the X-Men... You find that he's had a heart once. And I couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for the guy. They did Sinister good with this story. The writing is great. The thoughts, emotions and distant relationship between Nathaniel Essex and his wife Rebecca are done marvellously. The events can be shocking at times (don't ever browse through a comic book quickly!!!)
The art is very dark and contains alot of shadows - which works very well for this setting and story. It sets the mood for the story just right. Some might take a while to get used to the style, but that happens pretty quick once you get deep into the book.
If you've loved the love story of "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm", I'd recommend this. I would probably be sorry for saying this, but... It made me shed a tear :o)
Excellent 4 part series all wrapped into one.Excellent artwork and a great read. I highly recommend it to the Apocalypse fan

The absolute best - a shame it's out of printAnd the content can't be beat. You'll find an incredibly rich variety of definition within even a single word listing. By contrast, I always find the definitions in the so-called 'standard' (Chicago) dictionary to be severely lacking.
Bring back the vinyl, por favor.

A Great Resource
Indispensable

A metaphysical quest for meaning in a senseless 20th centuryThis novel, as well as the other one I read, Sionoco, deals with an alienated Jewish man searching for his father, as well as the strength and weight of the generations - of the individual in his family (Sionoco: Mayer repeating almost exactly the fault of his father) or in his people (Hoffman's quest echoing that of Spinoza's centuries before). Dark, brooding, deep: after the last page, the book continues to resonate.
Magnificent book by one of the best dutch authors

The perfect gift
Excellent

OutstandingIt's a pity that this book is out of print. It is an excellent photographic journal -- Jill did the photography, and Leon wrote the narrative. It gives a very real portrait of Ireland, and how this moment in history has arrived. You will not find these pictures in any travel brochure -- they are quite remarkable.
sensitive portrayal with outstanding photographs of all clas
